Headroom could be a little problem for the passengers at the rear seats. The firm low speed ride and expensiveness are something that will concern the buyers of Jaguar XF Saloon.

Refined, elegant and well-equipped Jaguar XF Saloon debuted in the year 2009 and was launched as a replacement of aging S-Type. The all new XF Saloon in an important model for Jaguar, as it is first experience in its all new designing language in the four-door sedan model.

Car Configuration:
Jaguar XF Saloon will be available in both, V6 and V8 engine; both the engine variants will be mated with to six-speed automatic gearbox to provide all the necessary pace that Jaguar is known for. With price ranging from £29,900 to £62,055, this baby wouldn’t be seen much on the streets, and depending upon the specifications you choose the price will vary too. There will be plenty of engine options available for the buyers as the XF will be having four engine variants for each petrol and diesel. But, most of the XF Saloon buyers will be attracted towards the 3.0 ltr V6 diesel engine pumping 271bhp, due to its amazing performance and for immense power pumping under the hood. But, with standard 237bhp performing immensely well, it will look like a needless expense. If you are going for the petrol engine then getting the 3.0 V6 engine is fine, but we personally will like more powerful, more smoother and flexible 5.0 V8.

Ownership:
Neither does the Jaguar XF Saloon comes cheaper, nor has a lighter running cost, so if you are going by the image of older cheaper jaguars then you could be disappointed. But if you can afford one then you will be getting a car sharp as a razor in driving and smooth as butter to ride in. This has been the trademark of Jaguar and they have continued the tradition here as well. Despite the immense power pumping under the hood of Jaguar XF Saloon, the car is absolutely safer to drive and comes fitted with all the modern security and luxury you can ask for.

Refinement and Verdict:
It will be a lie if we say that the XF saloon scores full marks in the refinement department as well and you can’t hear a thing inside the cabin. Passengers easily can listen to the V6s and V8s growling and gurgling at times at high speeds. Though there isn’t any unwanted noise coming in the cabin from the roads. So our final words for Jaguar XF Saloon will be that if you have money for a Jaguar, and are looking for a classy and refined car with luxury of a limo and sportiness of a saloon then the Jaguar XF Saloon is just the perfect choice.
